WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED AGE FOR TOUR PARTICIPANTS?
Typically, most participants are adults [ages 18 and above], but we welcome all age-appropriate people.
The tour’s main purpose is to help educate participants about how the people in the Castro neighborhood came together to battle the AIDS epidemic.
During the tour, the following sensitive topics will be discussed: sex, death, dying, sickness, discrimination & hate, and homosexuality.

You will receive a discount. When you arrive at the start of your scheduled tour, please be ready to show a form of ID to the tour guide.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

As experienced world travelers, we understand sometimes you can’t make it to a tour or attraction, so if you need to cancel, please text us at 1-415-439-0881 and a full refund will be issued.
San Francisco is a microclimate city so please check the weather forecast for guidance on what to wear.
As they say in the theater, “the show will go on” so regardless of rain and excessive wind, your tour will not be canceled.
In the rare cases that your tour is canceled for any reason, you will receive a full refund or the option to book another date and time at a discounted rate.
ARE PRIVATE TOURS OFFERED?
Absolutely, we offer two types of private tours:

Option 1 – Individual tours - For whatever circumstances you may experience, please contact us and we will try to make arrangements to accommodate.

Option 2 – Due to the nature of the topic, we offer a specially designed private tour. This option is for individuals who may need a certain amount of anonymity or wish to remain private while on tour.
To book either option, please text us with your requested details at 1-415-439-0881. Please note that depending on a variety of factors, private tour prices will be more than the general tour.
WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF TOUR PARTICIPANTS?
We’ve participated in many different walking tours throughout the world and we found smaller grouped tours were significantly better.
8 tickets are available for each tour. However, occasionally, we may have one or two more people depending on exceptional circumstances or special guests.
A tour will run with a minimum number of 2 guests.
